Happy to share with you that we are blessed with a baby boy through normal delivery. Exercises which you have said during child birth classes are very beneficial, may be because of those exercises only I had a free delivery. Tips provided during labor are also very helpful – like pain is more when I sleep and a bit less when I stand up.. So i did walking.

Being passionate about family centered maternity care and Women’s Health, she became a certified Childbirth Educator from the prestigious Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association [CAPPA] to make a difference in the lives of pregnant women and their families. Her expertise in evaluating and treating various female pelvic floor dysfunctions is authenticated by she becoming a certified Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Practitioner from International Institute of Pelvic Floor Research, Rehab and Education [IIPRE].
Currently working as Associate Professor at Physiotherapy Department, Durgabai Deshmukh College of Physiotherapy, Hyderabad, she focuses on implementing evidence based, result oriented, scientific protocols in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Being one among the very few Childbirth Educators in Hyderabad she conducts antenatal sessions for pregnant women at Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital along with taking care of many Women’s health issues through pelvic floor rehabilitation. As a senior academician she mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students towards developing their professional skills. She believed that professional development is not the same as intellectual development and plays a key role in cultivating professionalism within her student community.
She also has a working experience at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, Hyderabad and Susruta Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation [SIPMR], Kothapet, Hyderabad.
